March 12 – “Know and Grow Gardening for Kids” 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Katie Painter from Global Gardens and other returned volunteers from Morocco, Haiti and Belize will teach gardening techniques from other countries. Plant seeds to take home that grow across the world, make a “know and grow" sombrero, and taste test fruits from nations Peace Corps volunteers served. Regular admission fees apply.

RPCVs will display artifacts at booths, will share experiences via YouTube videos, present panel discussions, and a documentary will be shown. Activities run from Noon - 3pm.

RPCVs of Hampton Roads will host a 50th Anniversary event, which will include live music, Jamaican story-telling, show-and-tell tables from different regions around the world, and costumed RPCVs posted in various museum galleries talking about their Peace Corps experiences.
There will also be recruiting and World Wise School representatives, to give you more information and answer any of your questions!
This event will be held at the Chrysler Museum of Art, Norfolk, Virginia.
