I am Aaron W. Barchue, a Liberian lawyer working with the American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative in Monrovia. Attended The St. John's Episcopal High School in Western Liberia, Robertsport, Cape Mount County.Remember having two of my instructors who were Peace Corps volunteers Dave Matthews and Sherlock Murdock teaching Maths and Physics & Chemistry respectively between 1987 and 89. Left during the crisis of 1989. I am passionate in making contact with them.

I was an Ag and Home Ec Extension PCV in Guayaquil and Santa Elena, Ecuador from 1962-64 and had a long career with Cooperative Extension in Indiana, New Mexico, Georgia and Oklahoma. Since retirement, I've traveled to Ecuador three times to visit old friends. I also help with Peace Corps recruiting at Oklahoma State University and am currently an ESL tutor for the Literacy Council.

I sure am looking forward to the 50th Anniversary Celebration! It's been way too long since I've seen anyone from Peace Corps Brazil. I hope I'll run into some former colleagues. Life since PC has been good. I'm still having adventures all over the world. Smiles, Carlyn PS Should I wear my baseball hat from the 25th Celebration??? Well, I won't be able to go to Wash, D.C. after all. My husband would up in the hospital, so, infelizmente, I'll be staying home in Georgia. Sorry to miss all the festivities!!!! C

I was PCV in Zaire from 85-89 (Ed, Health ed., RR Bandundu and RR Shaba). I would love to reconnect wiht any old friends from those crazy days! I am planning to go to the DRC event on Sept 23.

I was in the Rep. of the Philippines working with schools and math curriculum 1966-1968. I worked in education for 40 years,teaching, mentoring and at UNM as a Support Teacher until I retired in 2007. It's amazing that many of us RPCV's stayed in touch. I treasure the experiences and friendships I've had for so many years. We are united by an attitude and life changing experience! I now volunteer for Project PeacePal in Albuquerque, NM.

Travel and community/political activities keep me busy and somewhat productivity.

Colombia 90 Conversation. Training was in Ponce, Puerto Rico. Worked in fisheries (INDERENA) in Buenaventura (90%) and Cartegena (10%) 1972 to 1974. After Colombia travel almost all of South American and then to graduate school biology and environmental science. Worked 30 years in industry as environmental scientist - Wastewater treatment, bioremediation, and application of Remote Sensing and GIS assessing and solving environmental problems. Making a difference, living mindfully.

I am currently traveling around the USA in my new Pop-Top VW Camper. I am passionate about Peace in the Middle East, especially around the Israeli/Palestinian issue. I have completed my coursework for my PhD and am awaiting a specific focus for my dissertation which will roughly be about how international exchange and intercultural contact has broadened my perspectives of life, religion and quest for the global good.
