Please join us as the Colorado legislature recognizes Peace Corps’ 50th anniversary by reading proclamations on the floor of the House and Senate!

Please meet us in the House of Representatives no later than 9am on Tuesday, March1.  Please allow time for parking and to get through security.

Also, Andy McKean has a request:

Liberty Day has reserved the 1st Floor of the Capitol North Wing in Denver for tables/displays from Peace Corps Volunteers showing their country of service and talking to people about what their Peace Corps experience was like.   I am asking RPCV's to bring a member of the country in which they served to help staff their table, if possible.    I have booked the Capitol for Monday, February 28th, and Tuesday, March 1, from 7:30 a.m. until 5 p.m.   We plan on staffing the booths between 8 a.m. and about noon.  If people can stay less or longer that is OK.

If you would like to set up and staff such a booth, please contact me.  State Representatives Jeanne Labuda (RPCV Liberia) and John Kefalas (RPCV El Salvador) are co-sponsoring a joint 50th Anniversary Peace Corps Resolution.   They would like as many RPCV to attend the event on March 1st. in the galleria in the House of Representatives in clothes of their country of service.   John indicated the more the better.   If you need their contact information let me know.
